A QUICK FIELD GUIDE

Play with what you hear.

  1. Choose your picture. Scope draws the left audio channel on X and the right on Y. Sands is a digital Chladni plate: particles gather along still lines.
  2. Start sound. Two tones create your first shape. Try a preset, then drag a dial or focus it and use the arrow keys. “Volume” controls speaker volume.
  3. Bring your own. Start sound first, then use your microphone or open an audio file. Files loop locally; choosing a preset returns to the tones.

On iPhone, check the Ring/Silent switch and raise “Volume” if the picture moves but you hear nothing.

Camera adds an optional selfie overlay. Record saves a portrait video with sound where the browser supports it. Microphone and camera access are requested only when you choose them.
